Downloadable copies of these guidelines as well the application are provided at the bottom of the page.
The Mariposa Farm & Ranch tour will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017.
Everyone must have some type of connection to Mariposa county, whether living here or having family or affiliations here. We encourage everyone to highlight farm & ranch life and nature.
Participants will be determined by committee. Participation is based on the type of vendors, craft or food and when your application is received. The sooner we get your application, the better to get your information on the web site and printed materials.
Preference will be given to crafts and vendors with subject matter dealing with nature or farm and ranch life. Crafts or food have to be made by you. Vendors and crafters need to be present to sell their goods and are encouraged to explain the process of making their goods.
Vendors (participants who sell their own products) will also be determined by having the proper permits to be turned in with the application. The product must be made by you.
The application has to be filled in & signed & dated. That information has to be turned in before you can be considered.
Each participant (except non-profits) will have a space (10’x10’) fee. The fee is $25 if turned in before August 15, 2017 and $35 after that date. If you are a member of Made in Mariposa, the fee is $20 and $30 after August 15th. The fee has to be turned in with your application.
If applicable, have proper permits & licenses. It is your responsibility. For example, if you sell plants, have a nursery license from the state. If you sell by weight, have a certified sealed scale. To sell baked goods or canned items, have a health permit. Any permits or licenses have to be turned in with your application.
We try to accommodate everyone as far as what location they wish to be at, but the final decision as to where they are assigned belongs to a committee. We urge you to c0nnect with your location about your site; we will let you know at least 2 weeks prior.
The day of the event, last Saturday of September, everyone needs to be open at the same time. Saturday 10am-5pm. Set-up is Saturday morning prior to 9:30 AM. Please contact your location prior for all the details of set-up. We have asked the locations to contact you as well. You are expected to be set up during the entire event from 10 to 5.
Only committee approved materials from other organizations can be displayed. For example, fund raisers for other organizations, political material & other upcoming events.
Only committee approved materials for donations, door prizes or drawings. No raffles with money exchanged are allowed.
Everyone is encouraged to participate on committees. The more participate, the more successful we will be.
Everyone needs to donate one item that best represents you. The items will be used for prizes.
