The Mariposa County Fire Safe Council is a non-profit, non-governmental, nonregulatory community partnership of residents, property owners, businesses and agencies working together to reduce our vulnerability to the threat of wildfire.

We may not be able to stop wildland fires from occurring, but we can make a difference in whether or not our homes will survive a wildfire. It is unreasonable to expect others to risk their lives trying to protect our property if we have done nothing to make it safer for them to do so. Preparation must begin long before smoke appears on the horizon.

The Mariposa County Fire Safe Council will be presenting information on wild fire safety at JJ's Garden from 10 AM to 5 PM on September 30th!
