What It’s About

The Bounty of Our
Beautiful Foothills

Mariposa County invites you to experience the diversity of California’s Sierra Foothills near Yosemite National Park. Each location showcases its own working agriculture — alongside local artists, food vendors, and community organizations.

It’s a hands-on day designed for all ages. Kids see firsthand how their food is grown, and families get a refreshing change from the urban world. Hosted by the Mariposa AgriNature Association with UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR).

Friday evening kickoff: start the weekend at the Mariposa Farm-to-Fork Dinner on Friday, October 9, 4–8 PM — a seasonal dinner sourced from the very farms on the tour, held at Casto Oaks Fine Wine & Art, 5022 Highway 140, Mariposa. Dinner tickets are $70.

Guests seated at a long table set for dinner outdoors under oak trees.
